RAPID NeuroFascial Reset is a new movement-based soft tissue technique that focuses on the central nervous system. The main goal of RAPID is to release tension, relieve pain, and restore function and range of motion. RAPID can be effective at treating:

Headaches-Migraines-Whipash-TMJD-Shoulder Pain-Frozen shoulder-Bursitis-Tennis Elbow-Golfer's Elbow-Nerve Entrapments-Carpal Tunnel Syndrome-Sciatica-Bunions-Plantar Fasciitis-Knee Pain-Quad and Hamstring Pulls-Low Back Pain-Sacroilliac Dysfunction-Shin Splints-Baker's Cysts-Arthritic Joints-Pronation and Supination corrections-Pubic Symphysis Release

RAPID involves the therapist moving and manipulating the tissue directly with their hands. The treatment can often cause discomfort since it targets already hypersensitive, damaged tissue. Some treatments can be done during the massage however, it is more effective to perform while the client is wearing comfortable clothing (so before/after the massage or no massage and just a RAPID session). For more information you can visit the RAPID website:

BioFlex Laser Certification

Laser Therapy is also known as photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT). It is a non-thermal light-based therapy clinically proven to decrease pain, stiffness, swelling and other symptoms of most muscle and joint conditions and injuries as well as accelerating wound healing and tissue damage. For more information you can visit the BioFlex Laser website: www.bioflexlaser.com

Record Keeping Course

Completion of a record keeping course for manual therapists to meet the guidelines of the Quality Assurance Program. Each time a treatment occurs SOAP notes are recorded by the therapist about the visit. These notes allow RMTs a reference, to evaluate if the treatment was effective or if changes are needed, and ultimately, provide better care for you, the clients.

Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disfunction Course

All RMTs have received training on the temporomandibular joint and its surrounding structures (muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves). I have taken additional training on TMJ and am comfortable and experienced in providing specific treatment to help relieve symptoms.
